Mental health awareness week
The theme for 2019 was 'Body image - how we think and feel about our bodies.'
Our experiences and environments can have an impact on our body image and will be different for each one of us. Body satisfaction and appreciation has been linked to better overall wellbeing and fewer unhealthy dieting behaviours.
We had a number of activities on site at Vickers including a massage, fitness class, cycle to work and a games lunch. Everybody really enjoyed the opportunity to recognize the importance of doing activities to maintain their mental health and to talk about it.Return to news
