Our Community Work

Here at Vickers we love to work in partnership with our local community, investing in the future is at the very heart of what we do. That's why we were thrilled to visit local primary school, Pudsey Primrose Hill earlier this year to help celebrate British Science Week.

We arranged an afternoon of activities, designed to inspire pupils in an interactive way. We talked a bit about the chemicals we manufacture, the variety of jobs in the chemical industry and showed how science connects with everyday life

It's fair to say the kids enjoyed getting stuck in and getting their hands dirty, combining liquids to produce their own slime, conducting experiments and even trying out our smoke machine.

A great time was had by all!
