What is REACH?

REACH stands for registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemicals. UK REACH and EU REACH regulations operate independently from each other. Both regulations must be complied with, where necessary. The aim of REACH is to make companies who place chemicals on the market responsible for understanding and managing risks associated with the chemicals. They aim to provide protection of health and the environment, and make manufacturers and importers responsible for managing the risks of selling chemicals and their associated uses.

What we do?

The Vickers technical team is deeply involved with both the CBA (Chemical Business Association) and other REACH support networks. Our commitment is to ensure that our product range remains compliant, and we are dedicated to keeping our customers informed about the latest requirements. We understand the complexity of REACH and are actively working to help our customers understand the intricacies of REACH and the associated regulations. Where possible chemicals are sourced from reputable suppliers who have already registered these products. If this is not possible, we have the capabilities to register products and an inhouse team that can advise.
