Vickers has worked closely with the IAS, universities, and research facilities to produce bespoke formulations. These are manufactured under our ISO9001:2015 quality management system and are guaranteed to perform reliably and consistently, ensuring your safety and quality of preserved tissue.
Embalming fluids are biocidal products and as such, fall under the scope of Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 concerning the making available on the market and use of biocidal products (the Biocidal Products Regulation, or BPR) within Product Type 22 (PT22). Vickers use approved suppliers from the “Article 95” list for all biocides used in the manufacture of Embalming Fluids.
We specialise in the manufacture of Thiel soft-fixing embalming fluids, which offer more flexibility and colour retention compared to traditional formalin-fixing fluids.
