Bespoke emulsion mixing service
With support and innovation funding from the PAPI Project*, we are excited to announce that we are now offering a bespoke emulsion mixing service. With our new industrial flash mixer, we can produce a huge range of emulsion-based liquids in large quantities. This equipment can be used at higher temperatures and with higher viscosity mixes – offering the advantages of high shear mixing to a wide range of applications that were previously not possible.
Did you know that using high shear mixing allows us to extend the shelf-life of our emulsions?
An increase in force during mixing will help to reduce particle size and creates an emulsion that is very well-mixed. With more efficient mixing capabilities, we have been able to extend the shelf life of our emulsion-based liquids. As a result, this enhances overall consumer satisfaction as we can respond quickly to demand.

The PAPI project
The PAPI project provides grants and workshops to SMEs in York, North Yorkshire, and Leeds City Region. PAPI encourages innovation with 40% capital grants of up to £20,000 to support the development of new products or services. The PAPI project* is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020, in partnership with the Northern Powerhouse, and delivered by the University of York.
