Would you like to join our Sales and Customer Services Team at Vickers? 

We are currently looking for a Customer Service and Sales Advisor (Permanent contract / full time).

 

Job Description:  Customer Service and Sales Advisor

Role purpose:

  • Assist in the administration of the customer service function with associated duties.
  • Answering inbound calls from customers and prospects.
  • Assisting with various sales projects.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • Processing customer orders including liaising with the Finance, Production and Despatch teams to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
  • Updating the Vickers website, marketing emails, creating blogs and social posts. 

Key Accountabilities and Outputs:

  • Maintain a high level of customer service and develop good customer relationships.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Strong excel and word skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in administration.
  • Commercial/sales experience preferred.
  • Respond to website enquiries and follow up accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records on the business system.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Commercial / sales background.
  • Proactive and assertive approach to prospects and customer accounts.
  • Marketing and promotion experience preferred (knowledge of Canva, Buffer and Mailchimp would be an advantage).
  • Team player
